Public Health Volunteership & Internship Opportunity
Become a volunteer with SIPHER
A volunteer is a professional who is not enrolled full time at any organization. An individual willing to contribute a minimum 18 hours / week with an organization working at home (12 hours per week if they are allotted field work). SIPHER is looking for individuals who are Graduates in any stream and have working knowledge of computer and possess good writing skills. The duration of volunteering ranges from 1 month to 6 months; however, extension is also possible after recommendation from the President of the SIPHER in consultation with the Board Members.
Become an Intern with SIPHER
An internship is a professional who is not enrolled full time at any organization. An individual willing to contribute a minimum 18 hours / week with an organization working at home (12 hours per week if they are allotted field work). SIPHER is looking for individuals who are Graduates in any stream and have working knowledge of computer and possess good writing skills. The duration of internship ranges from 3 months to 12 months; however, extension is also possible after recommendation from the President of the SIPHER in consultation with the Board Members.
No Financial assistance is available for the volunteer ship/Internship. The cost of travel, accommodation and living expense shall be borne by the volunteer/ Intern sponsoring organizing and no fee will be charged from those opting for volunteer ship/Internship.
Benefit:- The aim of volunteer ship/ Internship is to have a meaningful experience in diverse areas of public health and contribute in ongoing projects through their competencies and professional experience. The volunteers or interns will be provided a letter on completion and assisted for placement in Public Health Organizations. The interns will also be encouraged to do desktop studies/ writing a article on the subject of their interest and SIPHER will help them in getting these published.
