SUMMARY:SIPHER ECHO RCTC Induction Program in Tobacco Cessation (IPTC)
DESCRIPTION:Program Overview\nIPTC has been planned to induct Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and to empower them to intervene with population using tobacco in any form\, motivate and guide them for evidence based long term cessation. The sessions will include interaction with cessation experts and Public Health experts who will enlighten about the subject matter and enlist a few important cases where timely cessation had helped patients to prevent complications of tobacco consumption including cardio vascular diseases\, lung ailments\, stroke\, cancer etc. \nTopics Covered: The course will include 11 sessions including a pre-launch.
